Nakon više od dva tjedna otkako je Joe Biden proglašen pobjednikom američkih izbora, došao je kraj trakavici – Trumpova administracija i ključna agencija objavile su početak tranzicije
Ključna američka agencija, Uprava za opće poslove (GSA), obavijestila je Joe Bidena da je Trumpova administracija spremna započeti tranzicijski proces. GSA je Bidenu poslala pismo i to je prvi pokazatelj da je Trump priznao poraz, više od dva tjedna otkako je Biden i proglašen pobjednikom predsjedničkih izbora.
Pismo je potpisala Emily Murphy, šefica agencije.
Donald Trump se nekoliko trenutaka nakon objave iz GSA oglasio na Twitteru.
– Htio bih zahvatiti Emily Murphy na njezinoj posvećenosti i odanosti našoj domovini. Napadali su je, prijetili joj i zlostavljali je, a to nipošto ne bih poželio ni njoj ni njezinoj obitelji ni zaposlenicima GSA.
