Trener Mornara iz Bara, Mihailo Pavićević, oduševio je Splićane otkrivši kako je strastveni navijač Hajduka, a naročito mu je teško pao poraz od Saint Etiennea 4-1…

KK Mornar iz Bara slavio je u gostima kod Splita u ABA ligi 95-87, a nakon utakmice emotivnu je izjavu dao Mihailo Pavićević, trener  crnogorskog kluba.

Sad ću vam otkriti neke male tajne. Moja obitelj, pokojni otac, stric… Bili smo najveći hajdukovci i navijači Jugoplastike u Crnoj Gori. Uvjerljivo najveći, ja sam znao imati neprospavane noći nakon poraza Hajduka. Reći ću vam jedan, onaj od Saint-Etiennea 4-1 – rekao je Pavićević pa nastavio o svojoj emotivnoj vezi sa Splitom:

– Drugi razlog je onako emotivan, poseban, nisam imao prilike to reći prije, ali u ovom gradu hoću. Razlog zašto sam počeo igrati košarku leži u Splitu. Damir Šolman. Zbog njega sam počeo igrati košarku, mislim da sam bio talentiraniji za druge sportove, ali radi njega sam počeo igrati košarku i cijeli život sam zato nosio broj 12. Nisam se imao prilike sresti s njim, ali ovim putem ga pozdravljam.

Pavićević je potom doznao kako Šolman utakmice Splita najčešće gleda iz lože zajedno s upravom kluba, a tad mu se na licu pojavio osmijeh te ga je pozvao u Crnu Goru:

– Pozivam ga javno, a i preko vas, ako može, da dođe s vama i bude gost u revanšu u Baru. Bit će mi izuzetno zadovoljstvo.

Damir Šolman legendarni je košarkaš Jugoplastike koji je za splitski klub igrao sedamdesetih, a nastupao je i za jugoslavensku reprezentaciju. U Splitu je osvojio dva Kupa Radivoja Koraća.
