Nakon što je u četvrtak predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić najavio kako se zatvaraju studentski domove, brojni su studenti počeli prosvjedovati

Zbog lošeg epidemiološkog stanja u glavnom gradu Srbije, predsjednik Aleksandar Vučić donio je nove mjere. Iako je bilo najavljeno da će blokirati cijeli Beograd, to se ipak neće dogoditi. Ipak će se ograničiti broj ljudi u zatvorenim prostorima na sto, a na otvorenom na 500. 

Također, od ponedjeljka će naplaćivati kazne za one koji ne nose maske u shopping centrima i gradskom prijevozu. Kazna će iznositi od 5000 do 6000 dinara, odnosno između 300 i 400 kuna, no to će Vlada donijeti odluku. 
Zatvaraju se studentski domovi i kafići. 

– Volio bih da imamo povoljniju situaciju. Beograd je najveći problem, 82.5 posto zaraženo je u glavnom gradu. Sve ostalo je pod kontrolom – izjavio je Vučić. 

Upravo zbog najave da će se zatvoriti studentski domovi, brojni studenti su u četvrtak navečer izašli na ulice. Krenuli su u prosvjednu šetnju, uzvikujući „Nećemo kući“. Okupili su se kod kružnog toka nedaleko od zgrade općine Novi Beograd i najavili da ako se u petak do 18 sati ne donese odluka da studenti ostanu u domovima, oni će iz svih domova krenuti ka Vladi.
