Slavni njemački modni dizajner nije imao djece te je svoje veliko carstvo od milijardu i pol kuna ostavio 7 bliskih ljudi i jednoj mački, vlastitoj ljubimici Choupette, koja je i sama postala brend
Među nasljednicima velikog dizajnera bendova Chanel i Fendi, Karla Lagerfelda koji je preminuo prije više od godinu dana, su mačka Choupette te slavni maneken Baptiste Giabiconi (30) i dizajnerov osobni šofer, Sébastien Jondeau (45).
Baptiste Giabiconi tvrdi da je „duhovni sin“ slavnog dizajnera, dok drugi pišu o tome da tu titulu svojata njegov vozač, piše The Daily Mail.

Naime, izvještaji francuskih medija tvrde da je pravi „nasljednik“ nevjenčanog Lagerfelda (koji nije imao djece), njegov tjelohranitelj i vozač Sébastien Jondeau (45), za kojega se također vjeruje da je imenovan u oporuci, prenosi The Times.
Giabiconi je nedavno za francusku televiziju izjavio da ima „srodnu vezu“ s Lagerfeldom, nakon što ga je dizajner upoznao na sesiji „golog modeliranja“.
– No, kako su Karla više zanimali okusni pupoljci nego seks, naša veza ubrzo je postala otac-sin – izjavio je maneken.
U međuvremenu, magazin Voici objavio je u ožujku članak u kojem se tvrdi da je francuski maneken izgubio kontakt s dizajnerom prije njegove smrti te da je njegov pravi nasljednik privatni tjelohranitelj Jondeau. Giabiconi je to demantirao i najavio da će tužiti medij. Pritom je istaknuo da je dizajner nagradio mnoge svoje prijatelje.
Ostali korisnici njegove oporuke su i bivša domaćica, koja je dobila pritom uvjet da se brine o Choupette. Cijenjena maca, koju je Lagerfeld nazvao svojom najvećom ljubavlju te slavno izjavio da bi se oženio za nju da je to legalno, uz njega je vodila luksuzan život. Naime, njezin je lik zaradio čak oko 20 milijuna kuna, kroz razne kampanje i reklame, a među njima su se našli Opel te razni beauty brendovi.
Vjeruje se da su također dio bogatstva dobili i britanski model Jake Davis te američki model Brad Kroenig i njegov sin Hudson (11), kojemu je Lagerfeld kum, prenosi Le Parisien.
Prema Vanity Fairu, Hudson je radio s Lagerfeldom od svoje druge godine života te se dječak 2011. godine pojavio na modnoj pisti za Chanel.
Brad Kroenig opisao je u intervjuu u New York Postu 2016. godine kako su njegovi sinovi bili u stalnoj vezi sa svojim dobrim prijateljem Lagerfeldom, koji im je slao slike Choupette.
